Finally a drone - DJI Mini 2 SE

Wife wanted a drone and after checking out a few options, we decided to get one from UK. My buddy RKD was visiting India, so had him order one and get it here.



It's got 30mins flight time one one battery. The controller has a range of 10KM line of sight. The camera can record 2k video and the gimbal provides great stabilization.

It needs a 30W usb-c charger, so got one from Amazon - Honeywell branded and it charges fast. Also found out power bank can also charge fast via usb-c.

There are 4 spare-blades but we need to be careful when landing. I already landed it in a bunch of dust and one time on a small plant which got shredded. Thankfully the propellers don't seem to have any damage. Lets hope I don't crash it or drown it for worse.

QCalendarWidget CSS Stylesheeting

Recently I had to implement a calendar for a TouchScreen application. I resorted to css to modify the calendar widget's appearance so that it would be more accessible. A tryst with Message Queues Pt. 2

So far... I'm sending data to a RabbitMQ broker as messages. These messages get queued up in a user configurable queue. Supposedly a consumer is going to process these. But the consumer is out of my view. Doesn't matter. Now there came a feature of receiving notifications from the consumer or some other system. So after some discussion, the powers to be decided that we are going to have a notification queue which the client has to read. And from it we get the notifications to be read. Now the shady part of business was I had no idea what the hell is going on the inside of libStomp. So I ask politely that I don't have any read code.
